Humanitarian Demining, Sibenik, Croatia

The 7th International Symposium Humanitarian Demining 2010 is held in Sibenik, Croatia, from 27th to 29th April.

The Symposium was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mrs. Đurđa Adlešić. Delegates from national mine action programs, donors, demining companies, universities, scientific institutions and manufacturers of detection and demining equipment are represented at the Symposium. There are 165 participants from 31 countries.

In addition to plenary sessions and workshops, on Wednesday, 28th April near the town of Skradin a demonstration will be held of the work of ten demining machines, metal detectors and an unmanned vehicle.
