DESCRIPTION
Introduction
The test site and equipment are the property of HCR-CTRO d.o.o.
The test site was established in 2002 for the purpose of testing bio-sensors and vapour-sensors.
Weather conditions in this region allow the use of the test site all the year round. There is very little snow or frost and rains are rare.
Test lanes/areas
The test site covers the area of 427 x 390 m. The grass grows at the test site and there are stones in the ground.
Targets
The mines are buried in 10 x 10 m squares at a distance of 20 m and 50 m, in groups of 20, 13 and 3 mines. Locations are public for 20 mines, and others may be used for blind tests.
At the test site there are following types of mines:
- Antitank: TMM-1, TMA-1A, TMA-2A, TMA-3, TMA-4, TMA-5, TMRP-6
- Antipersonnel: PMA-1A, PMA-2, PMA-3, PMR-2A/2AS, PMR-3, PROM-1
Supporting equipment
There is a weather station available
Security
The test site is fenced off.
Past, ongoing and planned tests and trials
Testing of the BIOSENS project conducted by SRSA and NPA was carried out from 2002 to 2004.
One part of the test site is used for testing of mine detection dogs. There is also a testing lane for demining machines.
