Specialist training course for EOD level 4 completed
The specialist training course on EOD level 4, organized by HCR-CTRO and funded by the American State Department through ITF, was completed on 17th June in Topusko.
Experts from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia participated in the training. In the practical part of the course, the trainees used most modern detectors for UXO with nuclear, chemical and biological components. All the trainees successfully passed the exam.
The trainees suggested two additional level 4 specialist training courses to be conducted. The first would be implemented in Macedonia and during this course removal and destruction of ordnance containing CS components would be conducted. The other would be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina and would comprise removal and destruction of UXO containing depleted uranium. As part of the final exam, destruction of the stated ordnance would be carried out.
