A week to the symposium

A week before the Symposium, 170 participants have registered from 37 countries.

53 of them are from Croatia and 117 from abroad. Among others, we will have participants from the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Azerbaijan, Chad, Colombia, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, South African Republic and Vietnam. The attendees represent mine action centers, manufacturers of detection and demining equipment, research organizations, demining companies, international organizations, embassies, NGOs, UN bodies, donors and other organizations.
8 machines are registered for a field demonstration, together with a dual sensor and metal detectors. A mine detection dog school will also be presented. This is the first time that the MEDIVAC procedure in case of a mine incident will be demonstrated.
During the symposium, the IARP workshop, HUDEM 2011 will be held, as well as the SEEMACC Working Group meeting.
