A training course entitled “Training for Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) Detection and Removal”, 2nd level, for trainees from Southeast Europe, was completed on 10th July.
A training course entitled “Training for Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) Detection and Removal”, 2nd level, for trainees from Southeast Europe, was completed on 10th July. The course took three weeks and was conducted in the town of Topusko. HCR-CTRO has organized the training which was financed by the US State Department through ITF. Candidates from Croatia, Macedonia, Monte Negro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the training course, and the lecturers came from the SEEMACC member countries.
The training course consisted of theoretical and practical parts. All the candidates successfully passed the exam and they are qualified to locate, identify, move, transport and destroy multiple items on which they were trained.
